Why 3D ?

3D Imaging has the option - if well-implemented – to dramatically increase the contrast resolution of your CT data-set. What is radiology without contrast? Rendoscopy makes use of very high contrast in cross-sectional imaging on 3D surfaces. The major advantage is that 3D surfaces can be visualized with less partial volume effect than in the corresponding 2D slices - as for example in the lung window.

In addition, 3D Imaging will increase the visualization contact time per square unit of a given 3D surface (colonic mucosa) of the radiologist’s "optical system". This corresponds to an experience common to every radiologist: The shorter the reading time, the greater the risk of overlooking any aspect of a given radiological image.

As a result of the 3D imaging afforded by Rendoscopy, there exists an outstanding opportunity to extend the spectrum of your examination range through combining a highly-efficient, automated 3D Post-Processing Engine with the  best technical implementation of spatial and contrast resolution.

In cardiac, angiography, and colon imaging, the number of daily examinations would normally be quite high, as compared to the value of your professional time and the value of the investment of recent CT or MRI devices. Rendoscopy creates 3D visualization and analysis software tools which incorporate highly automated 3D Post-Processing features with 1 Voxel spatial and very high contrast resolution.
